Social Media Officer  
We are seeking a high caliber, self-motivated and dedicated applicant to fill the position of Social Media Officer to drive the development of Ol Pejeta’s social media channels and support our social communities. Based in Kenya or the UK, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, and delivering digital media communications to support expansion and growth of Ol Pejeta’s conservation and community programmes.

Project Manager – Landmark project on Ol Pejeta
We are seeking high calibre, self – motivated and dedicated applicant to fill the position of Project Manager – Landmark project on Ol Pejetato plan and oversee the renovation of a landmark property on Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Laikipia. This position will be on a fixed term from 1st February 2021 to 31st October 2021 and will be based at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia, Kenya.  Any person who wishes to be considered for this position is requested to submit their application letters together with copies of relevant certificates, testimonials/references and any valid professional licenses to the Head of Human Capital by Friday 20th January 2021. Our contacts are: Ol Pejeta Conservancy P.O. Every year, Ol Pejeta receives many requests from volunteers wishing to spend some of their time on the Conservancy helping in any way they can in support of its conservation and community development aims. Ol Pejeta welcomes two types of volunteers:

  • Individuals who wish to donate their skills and time to Ol Pejeta. This is very much for accomplished professionals who have very specific skills and would like to give back to us.
  • Individuals who would like to join our 2-week Immersive Conservation Programme. This programme is tailored to provide an immersive, hands-on and fulfilling experience in one of Africa’s most pristine conservation areas.

Ol Pejeta works to provide students with a fulfilling work environment by offering internship/attachment opportunities. Students engaged in internship/attachment programmes are fully immersed into the day-to-day operations of the conservancy to prepare them for productive work opportunities in future.

Internship/attachment are usually only offered to Kenyan citizens, but if you are outside of Kenya, please provide us with a CV, and a letter from your college supporting the internship/attachment. We will consider your application carefully.
