About
- The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is an African-led and Africa-based international research institute committed to conducting high quality and policy-relevant multidisciplinary research. Our goal is to generate evidence for meaningful action, engage with policymakers in the region to disseminate our research findings, influence policy decisions, and improve the quality of life in Africa. APHRC seeks to engage an intern in its HR unit to support in the administrative and HR-related tasks for an initial period of three months
Responsibilities
- Support in talent recruitment and selection
- Assist in the management of the HRIS
- Participate in the preparation of periodic reports on various HR activities
- Provide administrative support to the HR unit and any other duties assigned
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field; must have graduated within the last one year
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with Human Resource Information System(HRIS) software is an added advantage
