Sales Executives – Suzuki 2 Positions

In line with our business strategy,  we are seeking to recruit highly competent, proactive and self-driven Sales Executives – Suzuki reporting to the Branch Manager – Mombasa.

Main duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regular field visits to prospect for clients in order to generate sales and gather market information to assist in planning and decision making.
  2. Actively follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from showroom, field activities and promotions to build prospects and close sales.
  3. Prepare quotations in a timely manner in line with the Toyota Kenya guidelines and ensure closure of sales on a timely manner.
  4. Create sales orders in the system to facilitate timely invoicing
  5. Prepare sales calls programs for appointment bookings with prospective clients to facilitate sales plans
  6. Maintain regular contact with clients to promote retention and generate referrals and new business opportunities
  7. Consistently update customers on sales order progress, respond and resolve customer queries in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  8. Follow up on vehicle registration documents including logbooks to ensure the documentation is availed to the customer in a timely manner for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention
  9. Actively participate in promotional and customer training activities to market the company’s products and services to increase product awareness for enhanced sales
  10. Support in the unit ordering process to ensure optimal stock holding at all times

Minimum level of academic and professional qualification

  1. Degree in Sales & Marketing/Engineering or related field from a recognized institution
  2. Minimum of 2 years sales experience with a track record of meeting and surpassing targets
  3. Product knowledge in motor vehicles including vehicle specifications, basic mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage.
  4. Excellent knowledge of the Coastal Region and Culture
  5. Proficiency in MS Office packages
  6. Driving skills
  7. Writing & Presentation skills

Credit Manager 

The job holder will be responsible for improved business liquidity through the development and implementation of sound credit control procedures that ensures efficient assessment of credit customers, timely collection of debts as well as elimination of bad debts.

Managerial responsibilities

  1. Enforce all Credit Management Policy/Guidelines across the business to ensure full compliance that supports the liquidity of Toyota Kenya
  2. Review credit limits recommended from operation and coordinate with management for final approval to ensure the approved limits are accurately captured in the system
  3. Review monthly and weekly target collections and circulate to senior managers for recommendations on ways of bridging performance gaps
  4. Conduct quarterly review & approval of write back of credit balances held in Toyota Kenya books as per credit policy for posting in the system
  5. Conduct quarterly review of debtors’ ledger for bad debts and propose for write off
  6. Monitor credit accounts to ensure sales ledger integrity is adequately maintained
  7. Review & sign off monthly audit schedules
  8. Coordinate & enforce all Internal Audit recommendations across the business
  9. Review monthly debtors report and forward to Management as per requirements to ensure management recommends strategies to address the debtors account for improved liquidity
  10. Review bank guarantees to ensure that they are adequate & valid at all times
  11. Conduct bi – annual performance management review in order to recommend areas of competency development for the team to ensure the availability of competencies critical for timely and quality delivery of credit management services

Operational Responsibilities

  1. Assess & endorse new credit customer’s application forms, to ascertain that customers meet the requirements as per the credit policy
  2. Liaise with the legal office to draw the credit agreements for execution by customers and Toyota Kenya senior managers
  3. Coordinate bi- annual credit limit reviews to ensure the reviews are done in a timely manner in compliance the Company credit management guidelines
  4. Prepare monthly debtors report
  5. Engage external debt collectors to collect bad debts as per the company guidelines, to ensure monies owed to the company by debtors are fully recovered
  6. Conduct customer visits to enhance business relations, collect debts, and address credit related issues for enhanced customer retention

Minimum level of academic and professional qualification

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business-related field from a recognized university
  2. CPA (K)/ACCA qualifications
  3. Diploma In credit management
  4. At least Six years’ relevant working experience in Credit in a busy environment of which 3 years should be in at a Management level
  5. Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  6. High integrity, professionalism and attention to detail

Network Administator

The job holder will be responsible for provision of administration support to the branches, dealers and Toyota Kenya Authorized Service Centers (TKASCs) to increase profitability and market share in Sales, Service and Parts for all the Toyota Kenya brands.

Main Responsibilities of the job

  1. Provide the liaison support between branches and HQ on administration tasks
  2. Ensure Work in Progress reconciliation is done, signed by Branch Manager/Service managers, in conjunction with finance aftersales support team
  3. Ensure a reconciliation of physical units against cash sales is done monthly, in conjunction with finance aftersales support team
  4. Follow up and consolidation of weekly aged Work in Progress report for the network
  5. Prepare sales contracts, price quotations, delivery notes, gate passes, invoicing and all other pertinent official correspondence relating to the dealer sales department
  6. Undertake proper timely document processing relating to dealer sales both internal & external, including timely invoicing of orders before release
  7. Support dealer sales activities
  8. Dealer account and payment tracking
  9. Follow up on dealer vehicle registration documents and inspection
  10. Dealer Order bank meeting preparation
  11. Dealer sales plan and rundown preparation assisted by dealer support supervisor
  12. Dealer vehicle registration & delivery preparation

Minimum level of academic and professional qualification

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from a recognized university
  2. Accounting qualification will be an added advantage
  3. Diploma In business administration will be an added advantage
  4. At least two years’ relevant experience in a similar role at a reputable organisation.
  5. Automotive industry knowledge
  6. Report writing-ability to develop reports
  7. Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  8. High integrity, professionalism and attention to detail
