Field Officers
Job Description
The field Officers will be responsible for coordinating and provide oversight to all groups’ receiving intervention at the location level. S/he will responsible for planning and organizing for community stakeholder and group meetings in liaison with the field coordinator and the community mobilizer. S/he will be responsible for monitoring project activities at group and household level. S/he will be responsible for ensuring adoption of the project interventions among the participants.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Mobilize the project participants and facilitate the engagements meetings between project team and other stakeholders.
- Sensitized and on-board participants into the project
- Support with supervision and monitoring of project interventions among the project participants.
- Mobilize and facilitate active participation of communities in the project at planning, monitoring and implementation and evaluation stages of the project.
- Conduct regular follow-up to ensure commitment by project participants.
- Conduct regular group trainings on the project components.
- Conduct field data collection and transcription to facilitate analysis and reporting
- Support the process of delivery of comprehensive training sessions to target community
- Perform other duties assigned
Qualification and Experience
- Holder of a Certificate of Diploma in any appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience in business management or project management for profit making organization
- At least one (1) year of work experience in community work and groups
- Knowledge and exposure to the social and cultural values of the region concerned.
- Proficiency in local language(s).
- A proven track record working well with the local community.

Field Coordinators
Job Description
The field Coordinators will be responsible for coordinating and provide oversight to all project activities implemented amongst the project participants at the ward level. S/he will responsible for planning and organizing for community meetings in liaison with the community mobilizer. The field Coordinator will support in knowledge sharing, exchange of experiences and practices among the project participants supported by AAH. S/he will be responsible for ensuring adoption of the project Interventions and monitoring the progress among the participants.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in weekly and monthly preparation of work plans, implementation of planned activities and monitoring/ reporting of progress
- Ensure the community is empowered for sustainable development and they contribute to outcomes set out in the program
- The field coordinator will facilitates monitoring of project activities and verification of records
- Facilitate and monitor the implementation of planned activities and community level engagements
- Support the collection and documentation of impact and success stories.
- Link person between the project management team and the project beneficiaries for smooth flow of information
- Inspecting projects to ascertain the appropriateness of the interventions.
- Deliberating with project beneficiaries and support staff to evaluate uptake, pitfalls, and areas necessitating corrective action
- Support with regular data collection and inputting into suitable software to facilitate analysis
- Oversee and crosschecking the data for completeness and accuracy
Essential Qualifications, skills and experience

- Spoken and written English and good communication skills.

Project Driver
Job Description
S/he will perform work in operation, management and maintenance of the project vehicle to assure transportation of staff to and from various destinations. The project driver will endeavour to ensure the safety of the staff while on transit during the operations. H/she will drive authorized passengers, transport goods and services (information) and make sure programme activities run smoothly, vehicles are clean and in good order always in line with AAH I policies. The position will be responsible for;
- safely and responsibly performing all official travel using official vehicles
- regularly servicing and looking after official vehicles
- taking account of all available information on road conditions, accessible routes and locations
- running official errands and assisting with other office work
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect goods, parcels and letters as required in the most cost efficient way.
- Responsible for transporting staff and partners for official engagements.
- Supervise and assist with loading and offloading of goods at the site upon arrival as well as when picking goods.
- Maintain the vehicle log book indicating mileage, task accomplished, departure and arrival times, and fuel taken to enable proper monitoring of the vehicle movement as well as costs.
- Ensure cleanliness of the project vehicle and carry out routine maintenance checks and report any observed faults to the supervisor so that repairs can be arranged and servicing booked.
- Ensure the vehicle insurance is valid and prompt the Supervisor for its renewal in advance.
- Monitor the security of vehicle, authorized passengers and luggage in line with the vehicle policy.
- Prepare and submit vehicle monthly reports in line with the AAH-I Vehicle Policy.
- And any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Minimum qualifications required
- Secondary school education (Ordinary level certificate).
- Must possess a valid professional driving license for light and heavy duty vehicles (BCE).
- Certificate in defensive driving and first aid will be an added advantage
Minimum relevant experience required
- At least 3 years’ work experience as a driver with references.
- No major accidents in the past 3 years.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and skills in operating and maintaining different types of vehicles.
- Good knowledge of the topography of the country and full proficiency in local traffic regulations.
- Proven ability to deal with clients with tact and respect for diversity.
Other knowledge, additional competences
- Good knowledge of English language, knowledge of a local language is an advantage.
- Discipline and punctuality.
- Resilience and patience.
- Appropriate appearance and attire (friendly manner with all passengers).
- Ensures unrestricted availability of vehicles at all times and reports restrictions immediately.
- Willingness to up skill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures as agreed with management.
