Cards and E-commerce Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Bank’s Card and e-Commerce acquiring Digital Financial Services for Kenya liaising with the Head of Digital.
  • Develop Local Cards, Scheme Cards (Visa, MasterCard etc.) and eCommerce acquiring propositions to take advantage of existing/emerging opportunities
  • Liaise with Corporate Communications/Retail/Commercial/Corporate Business Units for Card and e-Commerce propositions marketing.
  • Create strategic alliances/partnership to grow the banks’ Cards and eCommerce propositions market share.
  • Define and document Product Papers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), SLAs and Risk Management Frameworks for all Card and eCommerce Products and Services.
  • Work with other units i.e. Retail/Commercial/Corporate Business Units, Operations, Risk Management, Product Development, FINCON Operations and IT to maximize products’ ROI/RO.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Digital.

Requirements

Qualifications and experience

A minimum of a relevant university degree from a recognized university.

A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage e.g. Visa certifications, Project Management etc.

A Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a bank with at least 3 years’ experience in Scheme Cards Product management or Card operations.

Team Lead, Digital Sales

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Increase digital Channels, Products and Service uptake and utilization by our customers through new to bank customer on boarding leading to increase in counts, volumes, and revenues.
  • Continuously mine existing customers and non-customers to create and execute a leads pipeline that would grow Digital business to meet budget expectations.
  • Contribute to acquisition of new customers through direct Digital proposition sales that provide a customer value proposition that attracts new business to the Bank.
  • Utilize available customer and transaction data and information to identify unmet customer needs for cross selling opportunities.
  • Digital solutions sales through telephonic contact, direct customer pitches, Direct Sales Agents, proposals, mass-communication initiatives, and cross-selling to bring in new transactional business.
  • Develop and implement customer engagement plans for both existing and targeted new customers to ensure that the Bank progressively increases Digital business wallet share from customers.
  • Work closely with the Corporate, Commercial, Retail Business and Branch teams to enhance the Bank’s overall customer value proposition in Sales pitches, proposals and customer engagements and position the Bank as a strong Digital Bank.
  • Day to Day supervision of the Digital Direct Sales Agents.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Customer profiling and segmentation based on data and behavior to inform the development of customer engagement plans for Digital solutions that drive incremental transaction volume and revenue.
  • Use available customer transaction data to provide insights for targeted below the Line communication campaigns and above the line campaigns to drive Digital Products usage.
  • Perform day-to-day Digital Mass marketing activities such as customer calls (directly\indirectly), email campaigns, SMS campaigns, in-App campaigns etc. to drive customer engagement, cross-sell and revenue growth.
  • Collate Digital Business data from multiple systems to monitor performance to ensure achievement of set targets through Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Digital Solutions performance reports.
  • Measure impact of customer growth and retention initiatives to assess effectiveness of growth & retention strategies and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Track internal/external partners and vendor SLA performance on Digital solutions and partnerships, and organize for regular service review meetings and action follow-up.
  • Coordination of new Digital solutions implementation project activities such as scheduling and training to enable successful deployment and go to market.
