ICT Officer

We are looking for a qualified ICT Officer that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will also train users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure in business. You must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems; as well as have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure the functionality
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
  • Support new technology implementation
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

Qualifications and experience:

  • BSc degree in computer science, IT, or relevant field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience is a must
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication ability.

Customer Service Representatives

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Welcoming and attending to visitors in the office
  • Answering and directing telephone calls as appropriate
  • Organizing and scheduling appointments as required
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistant to handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

Minimum qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field  At least 2 years of proven working experience as a Customer service officer, Office Assistant, Receptionist or related experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
