ICT Assistant

Job Summary

Lwala seeks the service of a highly motivated and technically skilled ICT Assistant who will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for the ICT infrastructure and network across all offices. The person will offer onsite and offsite support to the satellite offices. He/she will work with users to ensure smooth operation maximizing network functionality and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to satellite offices in implementing corrective and preventive ICT solutions for day-to-day operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification in Networking (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate – CCNA) is preferred.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an organization with multiple locations.

Lwala is seeking for a reliable and experienced driver who will be responsible for safely transporting personnel, equipment and supplies to various locations as required. His/her primary focus will be ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Vehicle and Motorcycle Management and Control

  • Ensure adherence to LCA policies and regulations regarding the maintenance and operation of the assigned vehicle/motorcycle.
  • Safely drive the vehicle/motorcycle for assigned errands and trips, maintaining professionalism and adherence to road safety standards.
  • Handle transported goods with care and deliver them to their destination safely.
  • Maintain security of the vehicle/motorcycle while stationed or during trips.
  • Timely pick up and drop off of clients and goods according to instructions.
  • Uphold order and discipline among passengers and ensure compliance with organizational rules.

Vehicle and Motorcycle Maintenance

Lwala seeks the service of an Operations& Admin assistant who will work closely with the Operations Manager to provide general office support for individuals and/ teams within the organization, supporting creations and enforcement of standard operating procedures guiding the operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Visitor Support

  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors. Greet and assist visitors entering the office or guesthouse.

Security Guard

Overview

Lwala seeks the services of a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to provide security at Lwala. The role entails securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points and permitting entry and exit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Keep watch of the entrance gate; patrol the assigned area and ensure the security of personnel, equipment and the entire compound is free from unauthorized persons.
  • Screen and permit authorized persons’ entry into the facility, while directing visitors to the appropriate office/personnel/place.
  • Ensure no intruders are in the compound, buildings, premises, and surrounding areas at all times.
  • Control patients and visitors to ensure compliance with rules and regulations, such as loitering, smoking, noise-making, or carrying forbidden materials, and apprehend or expel miscreants.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies, conduct investigations, and prepare incident reports as necessary ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide training and support to security personnel, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of security through vigilance, locking of doors, and safekeeping of keys; ensuring the facility is well locked up in the evening and open it in the morning
