Business Process Analys

This role is responsible for process mapping, identifying and discussing key business areas and processes that require improvement. The role holder is responsible for organizing stakeholder process engagements, analyzing existing processes, interviewing staff, gathering data, and assessing the business model to ensure the processes documented are effective and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carries out analysis of present processes, identifies opportunities for improvement and holds stakeholder engagements with business representatives to implement the identified process changes within the business to enhance operational efficiency and improved customer experience.
  • Liaise with management to coordinate process improvement project activities Conducts periodic reviews and analysis of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the Circle/Repository to ensure they are up to date and engages assigned business units to ensure adherence to the established processes/SOPs.
  • Interviews business unit representatives, gathers data and leads implementation of the re-engineered/improved processes.
  • Designs, maps, and documents business processes; create and present process reports.
  • Stay up to date with the latest business practices and technologies
  • Inspect effectiveness of active process improvement initiatives and make useful recommendations
  • Collect information and evaluate them in the alignment of project goals and organization goals
  • Communicate with staff at all levels to evaluate key performance measures.
  • Create process plans that contain project goals, milestones, and resources for the assigned business units.

The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, BSc Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Professional Qualifications – Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification/ Business Analysis Certification/ Project Management, Prince 2.
  • Project Management certification – PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 Years’ working experience is Required.
  • 3 years’ experience progressive experience in process design and re-engineering of business processes as a process analyst
  • 2 years’ experience in stakeholder management & Project Management
  • 2 years’ experience in process design, analysis, mapping, documentation, and project management skills

Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing enterprise specifics – Facilitate the identification and analysis of the Bank’s business drivers to deliver enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements.
  • Analyzing and documenting requirements- Elicit business requirements using interviews, analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
  • Setting the collaboration framework- Liaise with the Business subject matter experts in the development of business architectural framework developing a clear roadmap of Business solutions.
  • Analyzing the technology environment- Provide an analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement vis a vis information technology systems enhancement.
  • Controlling solution development-Participate in solution developments to ensure technical and business requirements are adhered to.
  • Supporting project management- Provide architectural oversight of projects and ensure that requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework.
  • Leverage’s business capabilities as a platform for illustrating the link between business needs with decisions to their technology, solution, business and information architecture efforts.
  • Translates strategic initiatives into delivery-focused change initiatives, while translating business processes and issues into effective conceptual and logical models.

The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • Minimum 7 Years progressive experience in Information Technology.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or Technical related
  • 5 years’ experience in at least two IT disciplines such as (business architecture, application architecture, application development, middleware, microservices and Service Oriented Architecture)
  • 3 years working experience with a formal enterprise architecture framework
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, cloud computing and containerization
  • Excellent understanding of software delivery processes, (DevOps) and methodologies (i.e. waterfall, agile, hybrid)

Release Manager – Continual Service Improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the standard process for planning, testing, scheduling, and deploying the releases.
  • Own the responsibility of preparing a Release Plan. Coordinates with Change Management team, build team, production team and other key stakeholders regarding the same
  • Assign and track release activities with various teams.
  • Packaging, controlling, and integrating the release components as per the dependencies identified.
  • Coordinate the release schedule and resources required both internally and from third parties.
  • Coordinate with the Build team and production teams to execute the release and produce the documentations, which will contain.
    • Build, installation and test plans, procedures and scripts.
    • Monitoring and quality assurance of the release
    • Processes and procedures for distributing, deploying, and installing the release into the target environment.
    • Release unit roll-back procedures
    • Change remediation steps in case of release failure
  • Ensure that all mandatory tests are conducted, and all tests are successful as per the success criteria before a release can be flagged off to production.
  • Obtain the approvals for downtime-related information wherever necessary in advance and ensure that communications are send out to all stakeholders as per the release plan.
  • Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
  • Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the releases successfully.

Strategic Sourcing Category Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement the annual Category Strategy and Plan as assigned, Timing and Sourcing Methods
  • Relationship Management and engagement of Stakeholders for Category as assigned: Branch Managers, Heads of Department, Senior Managers, Suppliers, Contractors, and Consultants.
  • Implement standards, controls, processes, or regulatory determined procedures for Category as assigned.

Portfolio Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and review asset allocation and other investment decisions on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal performance.
  • Building & developing strong strategic partnerships/relationships within assigned market and channels.
  • Develop a list of approved counterparties for vetting as part of an investment committee
  • Evaluate and review asset allocation strategies and other investment decisions impacting on a client portfolio on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal performance
  • Attend client’s (existing) meetings to report on portfolio performance and where applicable present the proposed investment strategy for approval.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s Degree in (Business related or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Professional certification – CFA, CPA, CISA, CCMS, ICIFA, ACCA or part CFA or
  • equivalent.
  • At least 4 years’ working experience in Portfolio Management
  • Knowledgeable in operations of the Capital Markets Authority, Nairobi Security Exchange and Central Depository Settlement Corporation
