Global Salesforce Administrator
Role Purpose:
- In Save the Children, we currently have a diverse landscape of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms in use. With this project, we are looking to implement a Global CRM Template via Salesforce with a set of Global Shared Services for the benefit of our global movement. We will place an immediate focus on clusters of member countries that are using Salesforce CRM platforms, alongside member countries who are in the process of implementation projects, but acting independently. Through delivery of this project, we aim to streamline and offer a standardised Global CRM Template, accessible across our movement. We will look to offer a variety of Shared Services for CRM to help members maximise their ability to interact with their donors and to enhance our global fundraising capabilities while promoting collaboration and harmonisation between parallel implementation projects. This is a complex project with a high level of visibility and will require senior level engagement with stakeholders from across the movement.
- The Global Salesforce Administrator will enter the organisation while we design, develop and test our Global CRM Template as well as set up the Shared Service Model. We are looking for a proactive individual that can develop deep understanding of the end-to-end system functionality, manage and enhance our Salesforce platform, gather requirements and feedback and develop scalable best practice solutions. The Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, helping support Member Offices and Users to resolve problems, training, and designing solutions with member’s satisfaction.
- With the implementation of the Shared Service Model, the Global Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing & new modules of the core Salesforce CRM. The role will likely be partly responsible for 2nd line support and it is expected will move from the project team and in to BAU within 2024.
- The Global Salesforce Administrator may be required to deputise and support other Salesforce Administrators in our Member offices. The Global Salesforce Administrator will work closely with Member offices and centre based fundraising and reporting teams to provide reporting and analytical information to assist in the running of an efficient, effective and growing global CRM Centre of Excellence.
- The Global Salesforce Administrator will work with the Global Salesforce Product Owner and Product Development Manager as well as Member Offices to provide a reliable, scalable and performant Salesforce core solution to all members that participate in the shared service
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential:
- Salesforce Administrator certified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of the business processes of a CRM, preferably Salesforce
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- Sandbox environment management
- Identify unused or underutilised platform features
- Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
- Data quality management, using deduplication tooling and implementing rules and automation as needed.
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- Knowledge of Salesforce backup solutions (native and third party eg Ownbackup) to ensure all data and meta data is protected, a robust data recovery process is followed.

Project Financial Accountant – Balance Sheet
Role Purpose:
Save the Children is implementing a new financial data model across the organisation, which includes an updated chart of accounts. This new data model will be implemented across all Save the Children’s 70+ offices, which include Country Offices, Regional Offices, our Centre Office in London. The implementation of this project, called Coding, is done in waves of around 10 offices at the same time. There are 5 waves to be implemented between now and the end of 2025.
This role will lead on the preparation and transition of the balance sheet to the new global chart of accounts for each of these waves. The role will also be responsible for ensuring full allocation and reconciliation across all control accounts on the balance sheet and all award fund balances for the country offices going live with Coding
This includes posting centre bank account transactions and preparing bank reconciliations.
The post holder is responsible for managing the recharging of the consolidated invoices for all travel across SCI to the relevant country offices.

Project & Design Lead
Role Purpose:
Humanitarian action is central to Save the Children’s mission to ensure that all children, including children living in communities affected by conflict, natural disaster or impacts of climate change survive, learn and are protected. To enable the Movement to deliver on our ambitious 2030 goals for children, and following on earlier successful efforts of centralising humanitarian capabilities globally, in 2020 SCI and the Members committed to setting up the One Humanitarian Team.
At the time of writing, the One Humanitarian Team has been operational for a year. The purpose of this role is to lead the critical setup and kick-off activities for the solidification of the operating platform, building on learnings from the first year of operation; and ensure that the operating model is configured in a way that it best serves the humanitarian principles and the goals outlined within our Save the Children Humanitarian Plan.
This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of OHT future state based on our vision, ensuring it remains on track to deliver on agreed outcomes and course correcting as necessary. The post holder will be expected to influence other areas of the organisation to deliver without direct authority and to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and coordination. In addition, given the global nature of the project, s/he will play a critical role in stakeholder management across Members and SCI, and will be expected to steer change management and communication-based activities. A passion for cross-functional working, problem-solving and “can do” attitude is key.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience leading large and complex transformation projects
- Demonstrated experience working with global stakeholders across different levels of the organisation from a broad range of contexts

Project Manager, Humanitarian Strategy & Transformation
Role Purpose:
This role sits within the Humanitarian Strategy and Transformation Team. Project Managers are assigned from the team to specific projects which support the implementation of our global humanitarian ambition.
The projects this role will manage will shift in line with changing organisational needs. The priority for 2024 is to analyze information management and knowledge management needs of the Humanitarian Team and to create and roll-out a comprehensive information management and knowledge management plan.

- Experience of managing project activities and following through to ensure progress within agreed timeline, preferably in an international NGO environment.
