MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines; Institutional Management, Catering and Accommodation Management, Hospitality Management Food and Beverage, Technology in Hotel and Restaurant Management or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
- At least two-year relevant work experience.
- Registration/certification with a relevant professional body.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Fulfill the requirement of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision of preparation of meals and serving to trainees and guests.
- Liaising with other sections on catering needs, materials and stores.
- Responsible for shift operations of kitchen staff.
- Carrying out regular /routine checks to determine the functionality of the kitchen equipment.
- Requisitioning for kitchen supplies.
- Responsible for adhering to public Health and regulations on food handling.
- Keeping records of the kitchen equipment, materials, supplies and preparing periodical reports.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas at all time.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
ACCOUNTS CLERKS II, JOB GROUP G (2 POSITIONS)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA Part II, Section IV, with proficiency in computer accounting related packages: Quick books, Excel, Pastel, Sage, etc
- At least a Diploma in Accounting or related field from a recognized Institution
- At least three (3) years’ experience in the same capacity in an Educational Institution.
- Must demonstrate the following attributes:
- integrity and commitment;
- ability to communicate;
- ability to be a team player;
- ability to supervise; and
- good work attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- A valid certificate of Good Conduct.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to the Finance Officer.
- Record keeping, receipting and reconciliation.
- Preparation of payments and other clerical works.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
ICT SYSTEMS OFFICER, JOB GROUP J (1 POSITION)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Information Communication Technology, Computer Science, /Engineering.
- Certified Information System Analyst (CISA)
- Computer Literacy.
- Equivalent experience of two years.
- Meet the requirements of Chapter six of the constitution.
- Certificate of good Conduct
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support and maintenance to the existing management information systems
- Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner
- Take part in installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners to ensure the consumers of the same are able to do so with minimum or no challenges
- Undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades to ensure efficient systems running and improve usability and security of the systems
- Provide input to equipment repairs and replacement of damaged parts for efficient functioning of equipment and to ensure longevity and optimum utilization of the equipment
- Provide computer users with first line support services to ensure normal running of operations within the institution
- Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed
INTERNAL SECURITY OFFICER, JOB GROUP C (1 POSITION)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- KCSE mean grade of at least D (plain) or its equivalent qualification.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in the same capacity in an Educational Institution.
- Must demonstrate the following attributes:
- integrity and commitment;
- ability to communicate;
- ability to support management and get on well with all types of people;
- ability to supervise; and
- good work attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be a holder of a relevant certificate in security matters.
- A valid certificate of Good Conduct.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports directly to the Chief Principal.
- Patrolling and guarding all access points.
- Detention and/or prevention of unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering premises and /or protected areas.
- Collecting information and reporting on matters of security interest.
- Making sure all firefighting equipment is regularly serviced, kept in the right places and is always for use when the need arises.
- Dealing with all matters of security for property and persons within the Institute.
- Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER, JOB GROUP K (1 POSITION)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Served as a Human Resource Officer II for a minimum period of three (3) years in a comparable education institution or in the Public Service.
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management or its equivalent from an institution recognized in Kenya.
- Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
- Have proficiency in Computer Application Packages.
- A valid certificate of Good Conduct.
- Must demonstrate the following attributes:
- integrity and commitment;
- ability to communicate;
- ability to be a team player;
- ability to supervise; and
- good work attitude and ability to follow instructions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing documents relating to recruitment, appointment, transfer and Human Resource Management records.
- Processing cases for the Institute’s Human Resource Management Advisory Committee, in consultation with senior officers.
- Implementing Human Resource Management decisions.
- Inducting new employees.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Ensuring health and safety of employees.
- Taking care of employees’ welfare.
- Assisting in counseling employees.
- Strategic plan and Policy development and alignment.
- Carrying out other tasks as shall be assigned from time to time.
