National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), established under the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act (EMCA) No. 8 of 1999 is mandated to exercise general supervision and co-ordination over all matters relating to the environment in Kenya and to be the Principal Instrument of Government in the implementation of all policies relating to the environment.

The Authority has received financing from Global Environment Facility (GEF) through World Bank for implementation of Environmental Health and Pollution Management Program (EHPMP –Kenya).

This is part of a regional five-year project covering five countries – Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Tanzania and Zambia.

For Kenya, the objective of the project is to strengthen the institutional capacity to manage and regulate e-waste and related uPOPs in Kenya.

The Authority being the executing agency for the EHPMP in Kenya is recruiting project staff as indicated below;

1. Technical Advisor

2. Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

3. Driver

4. Office Assistant

The Authority invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for these vacant positions.
