Consultancy: Technical Support for the development of a mobile and web based remote monitoring system for the Regional Open WASH Program for Refugees and IDPs (R-WASH) in East Africa UNICEF, ESARO (11.5 month)

Under the supervision of the ESARO Communication Specialist and in collaboration with regional and country office teams, the consultant will: •Create strong digital content in support of polio campaigns and to combat misinformation. •Map and engage digital influencers to disseminate timely and accurate information on polio. •Support high-level public advocacy around Polio. •Support the identification and engagement of youth advocates on polio, including via platforms such as U-report. •Support on country-level Media engagement and edutainment conduct engagement and training for local journalists, engagement of community radios and edutainment platforms (e.g., TV shows, etc.) to add Polio messages. •Research and produce regional and international media pitches on polio, as well as on subject matter linked to the climate crisis and regional humanitarian emergencies.

Consultancy: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Individual Contractor, UNICEF, ESARO (11 months)

Under the supervision of the Child Protection Specialist (Emergencies) and working in close cooperation with the Child Protection Specialist (Migration), the Knowledge Management, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists at UNICEF ESARO, the contractor will provide technical assistance to project countries to improve monitoring and evaluation, accountability and learning activities. She/he will support knowledge and capacity building on MEAL at regional and country level. She/he will communicate evidenced-based results, internally – to inform management and project decisions; and, externally – to donors and project participants for accountability purposes. She/he will also oversee producing information management products (e.g. infographics) to support implementation, management and advocacy of the project. The contractor will also contribute to the UNICEF ESARO Child Protection Section Monitoring and Evaluation activities.
