Waumini Sacco is a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society registered in 1980 under the Co-operative Societies Act of the Laws of Kenya. The Sacco primarily mobilizes Savings and Deposits and extends Credit to its members thereby empowering them economically and socially.
Through visionary leaders, committed members and economic environments over the course of our rich history, Waumini Sacco has since prospered.We have continued to grow in diverse membership and inclusive service offerings for individuals, corporate institutions and organized Catholic Church groups.

Today, Waumini Sacco is a leading progressive Sacco with membership of over 21,000 from over 800 Catholic institutions across 26 Catholic Dioceses in Kenya, Catholic Church Faithfuls and past employees of Catholic institutions “Mzalendo”.
Accounts Assistant
- Identification of defaulters and demand payments.
- Notifying both defaulters and guarantors.
- Identification of Unit (employers) defaulters
- Recovery of defaulted loans on expiry of notice.
- Reimbursement of guarantor’s savings once the defaulter pays.
- Preparing periodical management reports on delinquent loans and accounts
- Replacement of alternative Guarantors
- Managing and resolving member’s queries.
- Listing defaulters with Credit Reference Bureau.
- Any other duty as may be delegated by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum KCSE C+
- CPA Part II , Certified Credit Professional (CCP Part 2)or ACCA Level II.
- A Diploma in Banking, Co-operative Management from a reputable institution. (Degree in Finance have an added advantage)
- Knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
- Those with knowledge in debt management will have an added advantage.
- Certificate of good conduct
- At least 2 years’ experience in same level in a financial institution.
- Good analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- High degree of integrity
Customer Care Officer
We are a fast growing national Cooperative with over 22,000 members and the head office in Westlands, Nairobi and a branch network. We intend to fill the position(s) below on a 2 year renewable contract.
- Handling various routine inquiries received by phone and emails from internal and external stakeholder/Telephone management
- Directing queries to relevant officers and ensuring that feedback is promptly given.
- Following up on queries directed to relevant officers to ensure that Sacco SLA’s are adhered to.
- Giving daily reports to supervisor on matters not closed and other matters that require attention.
- Having Knowledge of all products in the Sacco and providing members with product and service information.
- Managing and resolving member complaints.
- Ensuring professional, timely, accurate and efficient flow of information to and from members and other stakeholders at all times.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Follow up on customer interactions and transactions
Qualifications
- At least a Diploma in customer care/ marketing/administration/ Public Relations /Communication.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/PR/Communication is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in service industry.
- Good knowledge of customer care and delivery of good services.
- Knowledge of accounting, credit and lending principles and basic computer knowledge.
Perfect listening, telephone management and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated track record of team work.
Effective organization, time management and problem solving skills.
Sacco Registry Assistant
We are a fast growing national Cooperative with over 22,000 members and the head office in Westlands, Nairobi and a branch network. We intend to fill the position(s) below on a 2 year renewable contract.
- Opening files for new members
- Filing and retrieval of files on request.
- Mailing and postage.
- Retrieval and archiving of closed files
- Preparing periodical reports.
- Preparing files for Loans Approval Committee.
- Scanning and photocopying of documents.
- Any other duty as may be delegated by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum KCSE C+
- Diploma in Archive and Records Management/Information Management.
- Degree in Records Management/Information Management
will have an added advantage. - At least 2 years’ experience in archive and records management
- Knowledge in computerized accounting systems.
- Certificate of good conduct
- Good analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- High degree of integrity.
