Sales Representative/Engineer

Role Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and develop strategies to promote renewable products or services.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with distribution channels, EPC’s, and strategic accounts.
  • Work closely with technical teams to identify and recommend solar solutions that are best suited to meet the specific needs and expectations of customers.
  • Utilize various channels, including but not limited to cold calling, email marketing, and attending networking events, to proactively generate leads and identify potential customers.
  • Assess product needs and determine system specifications.
  • Staying up to date with local industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulations related to renewable energy to ensure that the company’s products and services are competitive and compliant.

Role Purpose:

  • This role will be responsible for supporting the design and development of renewable energy systems, analyzing and evaluating performance data, and managing system installation projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products to meet customer demands.

Role Purpose:

  • The Group EPC Manager-Renewables oversees the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of solar energy projects throughout the African and Middle Eastern Regions. This includes conducting site assessments, and feasibility studies, and overseeing the construction and commissioning of the projects. Furthermore, this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams from project managers, engineering, procurement, contractors, and vendors to ensure that projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the desired quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the senior management team to devise and implement a solar EPC strategy for the African and Middle Eastern regions.
  • Supervise multiple solar EPC projects in coordination with country Construction/Engineering teams, overseeing the entire project cycle from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, time, and quality standards.
  • Cultivate relationships with critical stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners, and maintain them.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Lead and manage the country EPC managers.
  • Provide technical and engineering support for project development and tenders, covering areas such as interconnection, off-take, site assessments, design options, cost estimates, and risk analysis/mitigation.
  • Keep current with the most recent industry trends and technologies.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in solar EPC project management/construction, with a track record of successfully delivering On Grid, Off Grid and Hybrid Solar Projects in the C&I space.
  • Experience in managing Utility scale EPC Projects will be a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, including system design and installation.
  • Experience in PV-Diesel + Battery Storage projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • The Group Distribution Manager-Renewables will be responsible for securing and managing new distribution channels for Solar Systems and Components, including Solar Modules, Solar PV Inverters, and Storage Solutions.
