QA Engineer

Job Description:
As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team and other stakeholders to design, implement, and execute test plans, strategies, and cases. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and report bugs, track their resolution and ensure the overall quality of our wide range of software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, bugs and performance issues.
  • Design and implement test cases, test scripts, test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and usability:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers and designers, to ensure effective communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing to ensure the overall quality and stability of software applications.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to discover potential vulnerabilities, edge cases and usability issues.
  • Identify and document software defects and inconsistencies and track their progress through to resolution.
  • Work closely with engineers to provide clear and concise bug reports, including steps to reproduce and related information.
  • Participate in product design and code review sessions to provide QA perspectives and input.
  • Continuously improve the testing process, methodologies, and tools used by the QA team.

Requirements:

Credit Analyst

Job Description:
The Credit Analyst will Report to the Head of Credit and will assist in reviewing the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses, particularly for employed and Business clients to determine the risk involved in lending money or extending credit within kenya

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly evaluating credit data of both current and potential borrowers to determine the level of creditworthiness and assign Credit Limits by use of 3rd Party Intelligence Le CRB Reports, Spine Mobile, and Periculum
  • Financial Analysis and Approvals based on financial statements provisioned and including monitoring potential frauds, Altered statements, and Clients with the Inability to make Repayments.
  • Assist in the Review and development of credit scorecards and Credit Models for the Markets assigned.
  • Continuous testing and monitoring feature and product performance and reporting the same to the Product Manager and HOC.
  • Prepare monthly Reports on Unlocked Limits, Behavioral Client Patterns, and Risk profiling to allow for Credit performance monitoring based on Approval interactions.
  • Identity Training Gaps in the Market of assignments and Organize at Least 2 trainings workshops in a month for departments affected Le Sales, Customer Services.
  • Liaise with HOC and the data team to develop machine learning models useful in credit management.
  • Monitor and Report to the tech department bugs and recommend fixes as noted in the organization Systems and platforms (the back-endi
  • Interdepartmental relationships management and including working with both the Customer Servies teams and Sales Teams to communicate with Clients in Credit process adherence.
  • Revamping and consistently improving the credit scoring logic to establish accurate levels of risk of the customer segments.
