Stores Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock, supplies and inventories and consistently updating a list of inventories purchased and those issued out.
  • Liaise with the Finance and Procurement departments for fast supplies, delivery purchase and payment.
  • Ensure work orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock is allocated to the right end user.
  • Produce weekly reports to ensure that key critical areas of stock system are controlled, discrepancies addressed and resolved.
  • Schedule and manage stock take in all areas of the organization.
  • Monitoring stock by setting the critical stock levels to ensure proper stocks management.
  • Verifying the quantity and quality of goods/materials and ensuring receipt and issue of accompanying documents.
  • Issuing materials for use by the different user sections/departments.
  • Storing and proper handling of materials in accordance with the prevailing procedures and systems.

Education

  • Degree in business or technical subject from a recognised University.
  • Candidates with a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies in addition to a university degree will be given preference.

Membership

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gathering customer feedback of hospital services and products through questionnaire collection and in-patient ward visits.

Radiologist

JOB SUMMARY

Uses imaging methodologies to diagnose and manage patients of all ages utilizing a radiology information system RIS via e tele radiography, while providing therapeutic options to the clinical team. Responsible for communicating critical values and critical findings consistent with our policies requiring clinician notification.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  To adhere to all the laid down safety procedures in carrying out duties in the department.
  •  To administer contrast material during radiological procedures.
  •  To interpret and report general x-rays, CT scan images, MRI and mammograms.
  •  To perform special procedures for diagnostic purposes.
  •  Verification and authorization of all typed reports.
  •  To communicate critical findings consistent with the hospital policies requiring clinician notification.
  •  Making decisions regarding immediate management and/ or additional imaging.
  •  Enhancing evidence-based practice.
  •  To maintain confidentiality of radiology reports and good public relations in all internal and external interactions.
  •  Maintaining patient confidentiality and professional work ethics
  •  Advocating for patients and participate in continual improvement strategies.
  •  Championing continuous quality improvements in radiology and imaging service delivery
  •  Participate in developing radiology and imaging protocols and facilitating CMEs.
  •  Ensuring all standards are met including but not limited to quality of imaging and reporting, turnaround times, effective communication and quality customer service.
  •  Participating in on-call as and when the need arises.
  •  Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Chief Radiologist.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  •  Master of Medicine in Radiology.
  •  Specialist Recognition
  •  Valid registration and annual practice license
  •  Minimum experience three years post specialist recognition

  •  Advance Cardiac Life Support
  •  Advance Trauma Life Support (added advantage)
