Senior Manager, APP Development

Job Purpose Statement

The Senior Manager, APP Development role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations that facilitate the design, development, maintenance and management of the banks cross-platform customer service channels including Mobile App (Android/IOS). This includes managing a team in developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the platform and any other any integrations to third-party systems. The role delivers business strategy by providing reliable, user friendly and platform independent customer access point to bank services.

In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Senior Manager, APP Development will schedule and direct activities to implement business changes in the APPs and resolve service problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

The role requires prototyping skills, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to guide and lead an agile team, to manage competing priorities, design solutions as part of a larger roadmap and to be hands on in supporting implemented technologies as well as new technologies.

Ideal Job Specifications

  • University degree in computer science. Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
  •  ITIL Intermediate and other relevant professional qualifications in ICT field.
  • Project Management Certification: PMI or Prince
  • Experience working with RDMS – Oracle, MySQL and Microsoft SQL
  • Six years’ experience in Mobile APP Design and Development in medium to large organizations using C# and Flutter.
  • Three years in a supervisory role.
  • Working experience in a bank or other financial services organization.
  • Experience in Management of Support Contracts, RFP’s and Third party support providers.
  • Experience working with T24 core banking system will be an added advantage

Manager – Learning & Development

Job Purpose Statement

To contribute to the achievement of a highly talented workforce through sound Implementation of learning and talent development initiatives and programmes. The role holder is tasked to design the end-to-end implementation of training programmes from Course Enrolment and Uptake, coordination to evaluation of impact. The role shall also ensure that reports and data analyses is prepared proactively to yield insights into the outcome of Learning initiatives.

Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited university (Specialization in Marketing,
  • Education or Communications will be an added advantage).

Professional:

  • Completed or ongoing CHRP Certification.
  • Membership to IHRM.

Desired work experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Learning and Development in a mid-sized organisation.
  • Experience in the use of Learning Management Systems
  • Proven track record of consistently supporting the achievement of operational processes HR.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations.
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of all labour regulations and practices.
