Administrative Assistant III

Professional Requirements

  • Must possess Bachelor Degree in social sciences \or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Must provide evidence of computer literacy
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementation of administrative functions
  • Performing administrative operational duties in specific arrears of assignment

Corporate Communications – Intern

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Professional Requirements

  • Must possess a Master degree in Quantity Survey from accredited and recognized University in the relevant field and must be registerable for a Doctor of philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification.
  • Must be registered and actively affiliated with Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (BORAQS)
  • Must provide evidence of computer literacy
  • Must demonstrate potential for university teaching and research

 OR

  • Must possess Bachelor degree in Quantity Survey from an accredited and recognized University and must have registered for a relevant Master degree programme.
  • Must have three (3) years relevant working experience either in University, Research or Industry setup.
  • Must be registered and actively affiliated with Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (BORAQS)
  • Must provide evidence of computer literacy

Professional Requirements

  • Must possess an earned PhD or equivalent Doctoral degree in the Architecture   from an accredited and recognized university.
  • Minimum three (3) years university teaching and research experience since becoming a lecturer.
  • Must be registered and actively affiliated with Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (BORAQS)
  • Must have supervised at least two (2) students at Master level OR one (1) Ph.D. level student to successful completion since becoming a lecturer

Must have at least six (6) articles in refereed journals with minimum impact factor of 0.5 since becoming a lecturer,

OR

  • One (1) University level book in the candidate’s professional area published plus three (3) articles published in refereed journals with minimum impact factor of 0.5 since becoming a lecturer

OR

  • One (1) University level book in the candidate’s professional area published, one (1) book chapter and two (2) articles published in refereed journals with minimum impact factor of 0.5 since becoming a lecturer,

OR

  • Four (4) articles published in refereed journals with a minimum impact factor of 0.5 plus one (1) patent/innovation since becoming a lecturer.
  • Must have attracted a minimum of Kshs 500,000/= funding to the University OR provide evidence of having assisted the University realize a minimum saving of Kshs 500,000/=from his/her innovation/interventions since becoming a Lecturer

Technician II (Refrigeration and Air) Conditioning

Professional Qualifications

  • Must possess a Diploma in Air conditioning and refrigeration from a recognized Institution.
  • Proven relevant industrial experience from a recognized industry.
  • Must provide evidence of computer literacy

OR

  • Must possess GTT I in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration OR Craft II certificate.
  • Must have at least three (3) years working experience as an Artisan II at Grade 4N or position of comparable duties and responsibilities
  • Must provide evidence of computer literacy

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioner.
  • Inspect and maintain refrigerators and cold room
  • Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
  • Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
  • Install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.
  • Make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
  • Install new air-conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
  • Make plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
  • Give specifications, inspection of materials and equipment upon delivered.

Professional Requirements

  • Must possess Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing OR its equivalent from a recognized Institution
