RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pitch compelling stories on business, tech, and economic news
- Conduct in-depth interviews with industry sources and experts
- Write engaging articles optimized for online readership
- Shoot professional photographs and capture high-quality video for digital stories
- Edit images, graphics, videos using Adobe Creative Suite
- Host and produce regular podcasts focused on industry news and analysis
- Optimize written and visual content for SEO and audience engagement
- Promote coverage through social media engagement
- Any other duties as shall be assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field
- At least 1-year experience as a digital reporter or content producer
- Must have attained a B+ and above in O levels/ high school
- Excellent research, interviewing and writing skills
- Great on-camera presence and ability to tell stories through video
- Professional photo/video production and editing abilities
- SEO knowledge and ability to optimize content for web
- Proficiency interviewing sources and producing podcast episodes
- Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills
- Passion for multimedia digital storytelling
- Must have attained a B+ and above in O levels/ high school
- Strong news judgment and ability to uncover meaningful stories
Multimedia Editor
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit articles for proper AP style, spelling, grammar, structure and clarity
- Ensure content is accurate, flows logically, and meets publishing standards
- Review visual assets like photos and videos for quality and alignment with stories
- Collaborate with reporters on shaping coverage and story presentation
- Enforce and uphold rigorous editorial quality and ethics guidelines
- Optimize headlines, image captions, and other elements for SEO
- Oversee editing workflow and content distribution across web, social media
- Provide developmental feedback to reporters to improve writing skills
- Help envision creative ways to leverage multimedia and digital storytelling
- Any other duties as shall be assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS

- 2+ years experience editing at a high-volume digital news outlet
- Must have attained a B+ and above in O levels/ high school
- Sharp eye for detail with ability to thoroughly review content
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and feedback abilities

- SEO knowledge and expertise optimizing content for web
- Proficiency in photo/video editing tools like Photoshop and Premiere
